Spring Break O9'
Wow, we had a busy Spring Break! My Aunt Janie, Uncle Bob and cousin Julie arrived to Dallas from Michigan and stayed for two weeks. We had dinner here at our house on Monday, Tuesday dinner at Aunt Margo's, Wednesday Dallas Children's Museum...Wednesday night met up with Aunt Nancy and Jennifer and Madisyn and Presley and cousin Julie to see Twlight, Thursday Cedar Creek Lake, Friday off to the Ft. Worth Zoo! The Ft. Worth Zoo was so much fun. I had my three girls, plus Julie and cousins Madisyn and Presley and Aunt Melissa tagged along with us. I had a total of 7 girls with me! So much fun. We rode the TRE to Ft. Worth got on a bus to the Zoo. We didn't have much time at the Zoo, but the train/bus ride was a blast. My girls had so much fun. Pics coming soon. Since my camera died on me I have to rely on Melissa's camera and my phone camera for pics! My new camera should arrive soon. I am so glad that we were able to do something during Spring Break! What a longgggg week that was. We were so off of our schedules...and if you know me I am a fame believer of schedules! Emma and Emily never really took a nap.
Monday will arrive tomorrow and off to school Meredith goes. She is so ready for summer break! I am too!

Oh my, it's been six long months since I have updated our family blog. Man, where did the time go? Let's see....what has happened? Well here we go:

Oh my, it's been six long months since I have updated our family blog. Man, where did the time go? Let's see....what has happened? Well here we go:
1. Resigned from my teaching job
2. Meredith tured 7, going on 17
3. Emma and Emily have turned 3..big girls now
4. Ricky Snow turned 30...OMG, my loving husband is 30. I am not looking forward to me turning 30
5. My mom turned 50, she is going to kill me for posting that! LOL
6. Ricky and I celebrated our anniversary with our good friends Doug and Julie. They are the best :)

4th of July
I hope everyone has a great 4Th of July! I know my family and I will....I don't know about anyone else, but this is one of my favorite holidays...well besides my birthday! LOL I am truly blessed to be an American. As many of you know that I am a news junkie. As I was watching CNN last night it brought tears to my eyes. We have hundreds of soldiers fighting for us. Well kind of! I don't agree 100% for this war, but that's another story another day! My point being....The soldiers keep us very safe. They allow us to enjoy our freedom. They allow us to enjoy this three day weekend with our family while they are away from there family. I will definitely be drinking a good drink for them!
Thank you to all the soldiers...even my dear cousin Raymond! He is in the Navy watching over our shores that we love so much! My grandparents would be so proud of him!

I have been forgetting!
WOW, I almost forgot that I even started a blog! LOL Thanks to Kristy and the Littlejohns and the Puyears they helped me remembered that I had one! LOL
The summer is going okay so far. Nothing major has happened, other than my great friend Julie invited our crew down to her families lake lot house. I was having fun until the girls decided to be a grouch....they were not allowing me to have a great time at all. I know Julie was like, "OMG when are they leaving"? LOL Maybe not, but I did feel that way! LOL So next time Ricky and I will be going alone! We need our alone time. Last weekend was my brothers 31st b-day party...OH MY, My bubba is 31! Man time sure does fly. It just feels like yesterday we were kids! My brother is such an awesome person. He loves life, he loves his family and a very patient person. Okay, enough about him! Its going to make me tear up......!!! Changing the subject!
So who is watching So you think you can Dance? I am! Best dance show ever. It makes me miss dance. I think I might take up some adult classes to get back into shape. So I might be doing that. Meredith is wanting take up dance classes as well. I am looking into dance camp for her. She needs to get out of the house. She also wants to do gymnastics. She wants to be a cheerleader. We missed the sign ups for Forney Cheer so we might just do indoor. I think she likes indoor better. So we shall see.

Holidays???
So who is ready for the holidays? NOT ME! It just seems like yesterday we were eating Turkey and going Christmas shopping. I tell myself every year that I am going to start Christmas shopping early, and every year I find myself doing it at the last second. Holiday's are just crazy around here. Yes, its fun being around family, but stressful at the same time.
So here are some quick notes to help you and I to get through the holidays!
1. Create realistic expectations -- don't try to make this the perfect holiday
2. Learn to say "no" to extra obligations that might stress you out.
3. Take short relaxation breaks to let go of tension.
4. Get involved in a volunteer activity where you help others.
5. Tap into your natural creativity and create a hand-made gift.

Okay..I am back! Just been a little busy......So much is going on that I have so much to talk about! LOL
First I will start off with Politics...Don't forget to vote November 2008! Your vote can be the one to pick the next President of The United States!!! I came across a funny website, you should check it out! http://www.indecision2008.com But once your doing browsing the funny site check out John Edwards. I am hoping and praying that he will be the next President.

3.Investing In Our Future And Our Communities
4. Require Troops to be Ready....We should prohibit funding for any new troops that do not meet real readiness standards and that have not been properly trained and equipped. American tax dollars should be used to train and equip our troops, not to escalate the war. --John Edwards

In order to get the Iraqi people to take responsibility for their country, we must show them that we are serious about leaving, and the best way to do that is to actually start leaving." -- John Edwards

You might say why end the WAR? My opinion and my opinion only....Iraq did not fly planes into the Twin Towers, Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction, WHAT DID IRAQ do to us? Al Quaida did all of that! I really don't see the reasoning behind the WAR? What good is it doing? If anything we need to be in WAR with IRAN! IRAN is the one supplying funds to IRAQ and Al Quaida. As John Edward says we need to be friends with everyone....We are the riches nation on this EARTH and we have turned our back on everyone.

Okay....enough of Politics.....
What in the world are we going to do about those writers in Hollywood? If you don't know the writers of very popular shows are on strike! The writers went on strike against major film and television studios on Monday. They are upset that they are not getting money for online, ipods, downloads etc for their shows.
So, don't be surprised if one of your favorite shows are showing reruns. I know that Jay Leno is showing reruns!
I am a huge Desperate Housewifes fan and they will be going to reruns after this Sunday's show!
